Troy Kleber Y4P Leader Medical Student Emory University School of Medicine I am a third year medical student at Emory, and I joined Y4P because there is a need for making healthcare more accessible to communities. I am excited to participate in this initiative and help provide education and services to the doorsteps of my neighbors and empower people to take charge in their own health and goals. |
Luke Joseph Y4P Leader Medical Student Emory University School of Medicine I wanted to join Y4P because I am interested in teaching healthy dietary and exercise practices to both children and adults to mitigate the incidence of preventable heart problems. I believe that by empowering underserved communities, we can help make a positive impact in both current and future generations. |
Grace Chung Y4P Leader Medical Student Emory University School of Medicine I joined Y4P because I am really passionate about working with refugee community! I want to be involved in health education as a medical student so that I can better serve communities in the future as a physician. I have also been really thankful for various mentors when I was pre-med and would like to support future medical students! |

Alan Amedi Georgia State University Bachelor of Science Major: Biology I believe that education and healthcare go hand in hand. As part of Y4P, I can support the people in my community by teaching them about healthy lifestyles and risk factors so they are actively engaged and feel empowered to improve their health. |
Zozan Tahir Anges Scott College Public Health Pre Med Track I am apart of Y4P because I have a strong desire in impacting communities through health. To me,Y4P is a great way to reach out to communities that are faced with inequities that often result in poor health. This program has and will allow me to continue to reach out to people and create bonds that will help in their journey for better health. |

My past work with the Refugee and Immigrant Health and Wellness Alliance of Atlanta has taught me about the importance of education in achieving better health.
